Xinhua Finance, Johannesburg, October 14 — According to reports from Maseru, recently, at the second phase of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project—the Polihali water conveyance tunnel project—the “Dayu Changfeng,” a tunnel boring machine independently developed by CCCC Tianhe, achieved a daily excavation rate of 61.73 meters, setting a new record for daily excavation performance among 5-meter-class dual-shield TBMs.
